Attention MIT 2014 Applicants
We would like to wish you luck on your admissions! We invite you to use the chat (linked below on the left) during deadlines. Consider it a gift. And some of us may drop by just to say hi. --The MyMIT.info Team

"Where is Michelle?"

All the other MIT applicants I know are currently hosed down by a deluge of finals, boards, term papers and presentations and what have you. I wish all of you guys the best of luck!

However, I too am hosed, just not with school work.

For those of you who don't know, I work as a client-side programmer for VMware. That basically means I get to write the code that makes the application look pretty and respond quickly to the users :P

If you're into web application technology and data centers, you can go check out VMware's website. Especially my project's page - AppSpeed.

The positive side of this is that I get to use innovative and cool technologies, like Flex, and work with an awesome team of people.

The negative sign of this is that I get to do that for 10-12 hours a day and sometimes on the weekend too.

So, if you were asking yourselves "Where is Michelle?" the answer is most likely either "at work" or "sleeping like the dead".

And now, as my gmail chat status says, it's time to go back to the salt mines.

@deng & sepideh

I don't go to school, seeing as I finished high-school almost 6 years ago, but I don't have a degree yet either :P

I'm just a 'late bloomer' when it comes to university education.

Oh wow!
You work for VMware?!?
I love them! I use the Workstation to test out OSs before I install them.
That's totally amazing!
Well good luck with all that.
Don't burn yourself out =D
